Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal Parking Deck

The MHJIT project is a part of the Airport’s 10-year, $6.8 billion Hartsfield-Jackson Development Program – Focus on the Future. The MHJIT will improve the way passengers navigate through the Airport. Today, arriving Atlanta international travelers must claim their luggage, process through US Customs, recheck their luggage and then reclaim it in the terminal building. Upon completion, the new international facility will create an elevated level of customer service by eliminating the baggage recheck process for Atlanta passengers.

The new International Terminal and Concourse consists of several major components including a new parking garage. Upon completion, the project will feature 1,100-vehicle parking. Additionally, new terminal access from the east side of the Airport via Interstate 75 will give passengers added convenience.
